Step 5 - How to read and understand basic reports

Not-Provided > Landing Pages (Beta)

 ShinyStat Pro ShinyStat Business
The best way to analyse the Not-provided keywords is to relate them to the landing pages.
Restrict the scope of the observation, it makes possible to obtain more reliable results.

The report Not-provided > Pages presents the list of pages with which users have landed on a website after researching into a search engine, that has provided the indication "Not-provided keyword" to the browser.

The report shows a summary of traffic data relating to each of the pages listed and for each it displays a list of the keywords that users may have used to enter the site starting from the page taken into consideration and that the search engine identified as "not-provided".
In the first table are indicated for selected period:
  • the number of entry page in which are arrived visits from Google with not-provided keyword
  • the total number of visits by entry pages listed
  • the total number of Bounce visits
  • the Bounce Rate

Table
Each row of the table shows the following data:
  • Not-provided details: clicking on the "Details" icon in correspondence of each page, you can access to the report that shows the list of keywords that may have been used by users who have entered your site from Google and that are arrived on the page in question with a "not-provided" keyword.
  • Page: The report shows the URL of the page or the name given to it, in case it has been given a name to the page.
  • Day-by-day: clicking on the “Day-by-day" icon in correspondence of each page, you can access to the report that shows the trend of visits from Google with "not provided" keyword who started sailing from the corresponding webpage in the period considered.
  • Visits: It indicates the number of visits arrived on the page under consideration from Google with a not-provided keyword.
  • Bounce visits: It indicates the number of times when the page is the only page views during a visit, that is the number of visits from browsers that, coming from Google with "not provided" keyword, entered the site, viewed a single page and exited the website.
  • Bounce Rate: It is the percentage of visits from the Referrer under consideration, which generated a single page view compared to the total number of visits generated by the considered Referrer for the page in question, that is, the percentage of visits in which, starting from Google with the not-provided key, the browser came into this specific page, viewed only this page and left the site. So it expresses the percentage ratio between the Bounce visits (that are the visits arrived on the page under consideration from Google with a not-provided key, which they ended with viewing this single page) and the Total visits (that is the total number of visits with a not-provided key in the page under consideration from Google).
